1. Turn on the HP computer and immediately press the ESC key repeatedly (about once every second).
2. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
3. On the ‘HP PC Hardware Diagnostics’ menu, click System Tests.
4. Click Fast Test and then Run once.
5. Tests will now run, and show their progress and results. If a fast test fails, write down the failure ID (24-digit code).
6. If no tests fail, run the Extensive Test from the menu. If an extensive test fails, write down the failure ID (24-digit code).
