If your computer is slow or freezing, Task Manager helps identify the issue and in some cases resolve the issue entirely.
Step 1: Open Task Manager
- Right-click on the Windows taskbar (bottom of screen)
- Click Task Manager
Step 2: Check memory usage
- In Task Manager, click the “Memory” column
- This will sort apps so the highest usage is at the top
- Look for apps using a large amount of memory
Contact Support if the memory of CPU is particularly high / in the red
Step 3: Close an application
- Select the application causing issues
- Click End Task
This will make sure the application has been closed properly.
