f your computer is slow or freezing, Task Manager can help identify the issue and in some cases may help resolve the issue.

1. Open Task Manager

• Right-click on the Windows taskbar (bottom of screen) or the Start menu
• Click Task Manager

2. Check memory usage

• In Task Manager, click the Memory column header – this will sort all running applications so the highest usage is at the top
• Look for capplications using a large amount of memory

Contact us if Memory or CPU usage is particularly high (flagged in red) for any applications.

3. Close an application

• Select an application displaying particularly high resource use or that has frozen
• Click End Task button
